I ordered two of these to stage a house with absolute minimal foot traffic and under covered porches, both mats started shedding dramatically almost instantly. They look great but be prepared for tons of loose strings, fibers, bristles etc. coming loose from the actual mat with absolute minimal use. But they look great!

Ordered this rug to replace the old one that was deteriorating after 6 years in the AZ sun. It looks great, just as the old one did and I hope to get the same "mileage" out of it as the old one. Great rug, I recommend.

This mat is exactly what I wanted. Ordered two other ones and returned before I found this one. I used it on a larger front porch w double doors so I was perfect and it’s super thick so it looks very expensive and polished. Great buy!!

Bought this one to replace one similar to it that has served well over the past 10+ years and is now retired. I believe that coir mats are a compelling choice and are perhaps second to none. Yes, they can shed, yet I've found that the shed fibers stay outdoors and a quick routine sweeping - an activity we do anyway - solves this issue. The main benefits are that it dries fairly quickly and need not be cleaned or tended to other than an occasional sun bathing to the underside; the coir fibers do not react to our high humidity (zone 8b) climate. This example seems to be well made and is a bargain @ $25 delivered. I will review again after using it for a while. BTW: I am a wheelchair user and have found coir to hold up well at the pressured tire contact areas. In fact, the old mat face shows no wear distinction between the tire tracked portions and the non tracked areas. These coir mats are just a great choice in general - very durable, long lasting, having an understated restrained elegant appearance. NOTE: The mat in the photograph shows only a single green dyed strip inset to the border edge. The one I received has two green strips - one at/around the border's edge and a second one inset to the first - either version is fine to my eye.

Nice large size. I bought this for a party when we were expecting rain and wanted to make sure our guests had a place to wipe their feet. It held up nicely and did its job with over 70 guests. It looks simple and elegant. It definitely sheds as most of these types of mats do, but I did not notice any pieces coming into the house. I've only had it for a little while so don't know if the shedding will stop, but the shedding does not bother me. I would also note that this does not have a comfortable feel on bare feet, so if this is for a mudroom where people will be barefoot or changing into shoes often, I may try something different. I also had this in a foyer so it was not outside.

I purchased the Green Border Coco Coir Heavy Duty Doormat to replace 9 year old doormats that were literally falling apart. The old doormats had that rubber backing that is black and it was crumbling off and getting on everything on my patio area where 2 doors are located. The new Green Border Coco Coir Heavy Duty Doormat does not have that cheap rubber/vinyl backing at all and the quality difference is truly astonishing.The Green Border Coco Coir Heavy Duty Doormats are thick and heavy in fact with the 30" x 48" size that I bought one single mat weighed ten pounds. This Green Border Coco Coir Heavy Duty Doormat looks great by my door. It improved the looks of my Entryway tenfold.It works also very well at getting dirt off your shoes. I am so glad I purchased the Green Color Border Mats because they look fantastic and nobody around me has them while the black seem to be common in my neighborhood.

This looked nice out of the box. It began shedding terribly right away and now after only 2 weeks of use at my back door, a large “thread” piece is sticking out and I’m afraid if it breaks it will cause the whole thing to unravel and become useless. Really disappointed. I am returning it.
