TUFF Coat UT-100 Lt Grey, Gal,Tuff Coat 1 Gallon Lt Grey, Non-Skid Coating

I've used this now for several boat decks over the years. It is iron-hard once it cures totally and you can drag heavy coolers or whatever across the deck without any issue. Be sure to follow the application directions - buying their roller is essential IMO and having a mixing paddle for your drill is helpful too, as the rubber nubs sink to the bottom over time. There is no slipping at all on this stuff, even with fish and saltwater spread around.

You really have to mix this stuff and keep mixing it as you proceed - settles quickly. When it arrives the solids are all at the bottom of the can. If you don't have a paint mixer attachment like they recommend you have to spend at least 15 minutes mixing it with a stick. As you proceed you have to keep mixing it before you dispense it onto the surface - it settles again quickly. It will quickly curdle in the presence of water - make sure your material is dry. It dries quickly and builds up quickly. Don't worry if the first coat does not appear to cover, the second and third coat will. I put this in a fiberglass boat. I will update this post to advise if there is any future cracking due to hull flexing.

This product was terrible. The light grey is almost white and it does not cover. Paint was able to be easily wiped off several hours after application. Not sure if it was frozen before we received it or if it’s just junk but seller will not refund. Would not buy again.

I ordered light grey but the coating was white. And now what I used the coating on looks tacky. And yes I mixed it good with a drill. And me never using this product before thinking that maybe it will darken as it dries. It doesn’t.
