If you are completely overwhelmed with the mattress buying process, as I completely was with so many companies, here is my review to hopefully help you out if you're looking at Voila.Research, Research, Research! I’m so happy I researched a dozen mattress companies in detail before purchasing. These companies included the likes of Casper, T&N, Purple, Alexander, Sapira, Leesa, Serta, Sealy, Beauty Rest, etc. I was overwhelmed by all the options and felt so many of them were simply telling the same story with fancy marketing videos. I had a friend tell me about an awesome new mattress company he said was breaking the mold of the typical bed-in-box company that was focused on a luxury mattress experience with an affordable price. It was Voila. I figured it wouldn’t hurt to add another company to the mix of all my research and I’m sure happy I did.Here is a quick summary of the reasons why I purchased Voila over all the other companies without going into too much detail or sharing my massive excel spreadsheet. The main things is for all the components/layers that Voila has to offer, it was extremely cheaper than all other comparable products.Coiled Springs: When I looked at every mattress over $3,000, almost all of them had zoned pocketed coiled springs and realized this is critical piece to actually get the support on all the high pressure points of the body. My lower back was in desperate need of something to provide adequate support.Quality: Voila wasn’t just 2-3 pieces of memory foam put together and compressed in a box. It had 12 layers of materials that all worked together to provide a pleasant sleeping experience. This included high quality latex, gel-infused memory foam, 5 zone pocketed coiled springs, triple edge support around the mattress (makes your mattress feel 2x the size), and breathable airflow materials to offer a cool sleep at night.Comfort Choice: I loved that there were 3 firmness options (Plush, Medium, Firm). So many of the other companies had a one size fits all firmness, but I knew we wanted something a little firmer for my wife and I, and something a little softer for my kids.Price: No, it wasn’t low-cost mattress. But Voila was easily the biggest bang for your buck company in terms of quality, layers, support, comfort level, etc. when comparing to other companies offering the same product, layers, and quality. It was actually 1/3 to 1/4 the price of comparable mattresses made with the same quality and same components.After sleeping on the mattress for a 3 months now, I can say with confidence I’ve never slept better. We had a Sleep Number before and absolutely hated it. I felt like I was always a little sore in the morning and the my butt/hips area never had support. I’ve also noticed a HUGE difference in the coolness of sleeping at night. I’m comfortably on top of the mattress and don’t feel like I’m getting smothered into the mattress.We ended up ordering twin and full size mattresses for all of our kids as well since they were on the old floral looking mattresses that were probably 20 years old. We feel it’s been a great investment.Negatives/Cons:Box came pretty dirty from the shipping company and looked a little beat up. I would recommend removing the box in your garage or outside and then carrying the plastic rolled-up mattress to your bedroom to make sure you don’t stain your carpet or floors.There was about 12-24 hours of a very light off-gasing smell. I assume this is completely normal with any compressed mattress, but couldn’t smell anything after the first day.

We've been looking around at pretty much every option out there, from gel beds to memory foam to whatever else is around. We heard from friends that we should try this mattress out because they love their so much. We are so grateful they did. We LOVE this mattress. It's incredibly comfortable, without being too hot, and just the right amount of support paired with softness. The quality is outstanding, without it being as insanely expensive as other mattresses with the same features.I'm a side sleeper, and was worried about finding a mattress that doesn't mess my back up, and we've found it here. It has great support. There's only one problem with this mattress: we can't get our kids to stop coming into our room at night to sleep with us now!

 It's pretty crazy ordering a mattress from amazon and then having it delivered within a few days in a box. When it was delivered they placed the box in my garage. I was pretty excited because of all the research I had done. I removed the box in my garage and I carried the rolled up bed into our bedroom (it's not light, it took me and my 4 young boys). I cut the plastic and boom the mattress started it's magic. Within a few hours the bed was ready to go.After all my research, I didn't want simple foam and memory foam bed. I wanted something more real and high end. Something more like a showroom mattress with springs/coils. The funny thing is that I live within a mile or so from Purple where they manufacture their mattresses. What sold me was when Purple launched a mattress similar to Voila and they are selling it for $2,500. I think Voila was a no brainer because it's a similar build better plus it's a better price! Well I made the right decision and now my wife and I are sleeping so much better than ever before. It's super plush but you can tell it has much more substance than a cheap foam pad that most of the other internet mattress companies are selling.

After WAY TOO much research and time looking for the right mattress, we kept coming back to Voila and haven’t regretted it for one second. We had never heard of them before until I came across them on a mattress review site that said it was the best hybrid mattress on the market that they would recommend. Ultimately, the buying decision came down to a combination of the price to the quality/make-up of the mattress we were buying. We looked at everything from $500 - $5,000, and ultimately realized Voila was the same construction of a mattress of the higher-end mattresses for a fraction of the price. We didn’t want an overpriced mattress or a low-cost mattress, we felt we’ve been on both ends of that spectrum before and regretted it.We previously slept on a national brand mattress we bought from a retail store 8 years ago and never got any back or joint relief that we thought we were going to get, but didn’t want to spend thousands of dollars again so we kept sleeping on it and eventually added toppers to it, but nothing really helped. We’ve been sleeping on our Voila for 6 months now and haven’t had a sleepless night once. The mattress is extremely cool to sleep on and really supportive. I ordered a medium comfort level and the support has been awesome and comfortably firm, but also “light” feeling sleeping on top of the layers. Our kids were constantly asking to sleep in bed with us and hated their hand-me-down beds after we bought our mattress, so we eventually got mattresses for them and they love to sleep on them at night.Bottom line: Amazing price (not the cheapest), superb construction and quality of materials, comes in a box to your front door, comfort option, cool sleep, no sleepless nights after 8 years of misery. I would recommend 100% to any person, especially customers of size that need the extra support of layers and coils-springs Voila offers.
