its a toy!
sound is so-so. microphone broke after my son tried to walk away with it in his hand. cord just came out of the thing really easily so we will be buying another mic to use with it. This keyboard is a nice little toy to sit on the floor with. Fits in my 6 yr olds lap pretty easily. Is light weight. Easy to use. But like I said, the sound is really not that great. If you want something that will last a long time that actually sounds good do yourself a favor and spend the money and get something else.

Decent
The microphone did not come with the keyboard like it was supposed to but the keyboard itself was perfect for my kids to play and make music

Worst keyboard I've ever heard!
Not worth the money. I should have spent more and got the Casio keyboard which is way better. The volume is so low and it won't adjust even though there are buttons to make it louder or softer. The keys don't all seem to work when you push down on them. You knows it's crap when tapping on the keys is louder than the volume coming out of the speakers.

A small let down
By the looks it's a good looking instrument but for a child the instructions were not very helpful which lead to a little disappointment

Worth the money
If you're expecting some sort of concert quality piano you'll be disappointed. If, however you want a sturdy little keyboard that makes lots of fun sounds for a kid, then this is for you. Bonus, not sure if our batteries are low or what but this thing is not obnoxiously load. We haven't used the microphone as our 3 year old doesn't seem to even know that it's there.

Five Stars
Microphone has to be really close but its not super loud for kids to play with.

Not spectacular, but worth the money.
Our toddler loves it, which is the important thing. It is very rugged to put up with his bouncing around on the keys. He is obviously not up to Chopin yet.The microphone is weak and records too little time to be useful. The volume is too low for today's kids who are used to all sorts of noise blasting from our multitude of electronic media. As an educational toy, is suffices. If nothing else, it introduces him to a keyboard and is strong enough to allow him to experiment with different combinations of sounds and rhythms. As an example, he progressed from random pokes at the keyboard to discovering by himself the progress of tones up and down the keyboard. That's not too much to ask for the price.Shipping was quick and the product worked well straight from the package. What is needed for younger kids is simply an electronic keyboard. Nothing fancy, all they need is one that plays one instrument, so that they can experiment with playing music and not playing around with the electronic toy. Too often, the focus of kids' electronic toys are wow-wee factors and not on a well-thought out experience. More is not always better.Again, ok for the price.
