Beautiful ornament!

Ifr you are new to cross stitch, and I'm not, this is the perfect project. If you are more experienced you will still enjoy creating this ornament. I love the fact that the thread has been seperated, that alone is enough for me to purchase kits in the future.The pattern is very easy to see, and it didn't take very long to finish it.

Beautiful design but in 30 years of cross stitching, I have never had such difficulty with thread. The thread constantly knotted and tore. I've made 9 ornaments from this company / designer and ran out of certain colors a couple of times due to this problem. Fortunately, I could pull excess thread from one of the other sets. Just something to keep in mind.

This is a lovely little kit. The detail is excellent. It's the first time I have used plastic aida but it was no problem at all.. There are more than enough silks to finish the kit. Personally I'll back mine with felt so that you can't see the back side of the work. It doesn't look bad but I'm a little anal about things like that and it won't take much effort to stick some felt on it.. The finished article is a perfect size neither too small or too big, it'l look lovely on the tree. I have bought others so I'll see how they go but I can't wait to start each one. It may be fair to say though I'm a great fan of Dimensions as a company and do a lot of their Gold collection because they put so much detail into any one of their kits and there is always more than enough silks to finish them off.

I bought these as something to try during lockdown after exhausting tv. I got hooked! I have never cross stitched before, and made a fair number of mistakes a long the way, but it was good fun and they are on my Christmas tree with pride (albeit not looking quite as good as the picture)

Great product with clear instructions and plenty of spare thread. Good quality thread and backing. Details are fantastic

Enjoyed doing this, and it will look nice on the tree at Christmas, plenty of thread left after the project was completed.
